surf & yoga vacation ahead – YEAH

surf & yoga vacation ahead – YEAH

Still enough leave days left from last year and a new job ahead. So what would be a cool way to lead over from the old to the new job? Escaping winter weather?┬á – Yes! Being active? – Yes! Meeting nice people? – Yes!

I thought about activities that I like or that I would like to try and so I thought of surfing or stand up paddling in combination with yoga. I was researching and was surprised how many offers are out there. Well vacations in Hawaii were really tempting, but for just one week probably a little over the top. But more and more I found good reviews on doing a surf & yoga camp in Fuerteventura, all year it is mild to warm weather and a lot of good surf schools seem to be on the island.

No sooner said than done. Booked a flight, decided to take surf & yoga classes in El Cotillo with the option to switch to stand up paddling if I have the need for. So in my imagination I will ride wildly the atlantic waves in the morning and relax with yoga while the sun is going down. čśë

From now on it is preparation time! First I need to get healthy! Then I have to restart doing push ups, so that my arms won’t be to exhausted too fast while surfing. Well and besides that I have to gather all the summer/surfing stuff. I already picked up my sports glasses from „Whiteout & Glare“, that I had won a couple months ago and that I never had picked up since then. But now I think it will be a useful tool.

Well look forward to my review post after my vacation!

Have you ever been on Fuerte before and can you recommend something that I really should do while being on this Canarian island?
